I watched Jaby's review of the teaser yesterday, and he was actually HOPING it was going to be like 8 Mile! I think this is going to do very well here in the US.

The trailer? Wow. I admit that I was worried about the trailer disappointing because the teaser was so amazing, but I didn't have to worry! The trailer and the music easily outdid the teaser! And so much of Alia/Ranveer! ❤️ Even though she didn't take a lot of time to film her part, it looks like Alia's character plays an important role in the story.

Congrats to Zoya and the team! Now the movie just needs to make some money! *fingers crossed*

Awesome trailer!! At a loss for words tbh.. Ranveer has done it is all I can say. Ranveer Versatile Singh!!

Raw, real gritty and inspiring. Ahh!! I thought it might be a bit difficult for people to connect with the movie because the backdrop is underground rap scene but was totally wrong. Everyone is raving about the trailer.

'Koi doosra mere ko batayega Main Kaun Hai' --->this line is awesome.

Apna time aayega is lit and it is definitely going to be a rage. Even people not in to rap is going to connect with the song.. Can't believe a 19 year old boy (Spitfire) wrote the lyrics.. what a talent he is..

The story is not ONLY about divines life. Zoya met other rappers too like neazy. She was inspired to make the movie when she saw the docu about neazys life. The story is influenced by the stories of the rappers she met. So it's fictional with real life references.

yes i was worried abt trailer too but i loved it. just hope people will like d movie and it will get a bb tag.

I think they cut it fabulously...we know what it is, still there is enough curiosity

I think in masala films u gotta show some main parts to attract audience. Most of the Audience that goes to watch will go only if assured there r good action scenes n punchlines.

Yeah this trailer is cut very well. Is Kalki doing a cameo though? I thought she's second female lead?

Dont know why people are comparing it to 8 mile...while 8 mile was mostly about Jimmy struggle to become an artist...here its also about Murad's relation with his parents... and trust me, this parent-child relation is quite normal in India, we have seen it in 3 idiots too, where the Father wants the son to get a decent paying job and live a normal life... these kind of professions are not considered good, cause they work only by fluke...and mostly only for the rich people...

the only aim poor, lower class parents have is that their sons will get a job, and if they manage to get an education for the kids, then they dream of a better paying job, so that they dont have to take small loans to manage house expenses, at the end of the month... and when the kids want to pursue a different profession, there is always a clash of views...

I digressed, but point is, this struggle is not from 8 mile...this struggle is very much Indian too..

I can see it being the next rebel anthem like sadda haq. It'll be so popular in college grounds
