He is the Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood. I mean in the "everywhere and powerful" sense. LOL.

The only way I see that happening in near future (read:2019/2020) if his big-budget historicals tank. He has a lot of money pumped into movies this year.

He isn't infallible. He has "overtaken" YRF in terms of success rate, but unlike YRF that have other stuff (like distribution) going on too - Karan's sphere is more narrow. There is a reason YRF absorbs so many flops and yet we don't hear murmurs of money troubles. I don't get the feeling Karan would find it easy to recover from a spate of flops.

He seems to be having a golden run though.

It isn't his movies' fate that seem bother him these days as much as this separate "faction" of outsiders/semi-outsiders that is forming. It probably bugs him that there might come a time soon when he won't know all the latest gossip floating around. 😆
