If rumours are to be believed, it looks like movie lovers have a treat in the offing. Apparently, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will soon reunite on screen for David Dhawan's next venture. However, we haven't got any confirmation from either of the concerned parties yet.

Varun Dhawan has delivered hits like Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2 with his father previously and this will be Alia Bhatt's first collaboration with the director who is popular for his comedies. Looking at their track record, Varun Dhawan - Alia Bhatt can be considered the modern day Shah Rukh Khan - Kajol since their chemistry is loved by fans and that love is directly reflected in the box-office numbers of their films.

If it's true this would be their 5th movie in such a short time. Make sense that Varun would want something big for his family production house.

In that new Alia interview she said she is only shooting for Sadak 2 and Tahkt this year and she has room for 1 more.

The Katrina angle will always be there.

On topic, I doubt this is true. Varun lately seems like he wants to move away from Alia and the Varia pairing and I imagine he has a lot of influence over who his father casts. And Dhawan movies, no matter what one thinks of them, make money on their own so it's not like they need Alia.
