I think it is a gradual process, SRK has been delivering flops since 2014 I think, it is that zero is the worst of the flops because he himself was very hopeful about it. With Salman, last two eids have been poor too, yes TGZ worked and we can always say that a sequel is a safe one to cash on. Aamir needed the disaster of TOH to remember that his audience loves his movies and he cannot just star in any shit directed by Victor anymore.

so i do not think that the ERA of Khans is over, however their stardom or the influence is box office has been on a decline from the past three years, with SRK and Salman it is not even new unless their fans choose to believe otherwise, with Aamir it is a new thing to flop in last 10 years.
