Sara gives no credit to 'Saif' for Simmba!

Btw, a few things I found.

When Kedernath hit obstacles, Saif had actually visited Abhishek Kapoor's office WITH Sara and figured things out for her.

Also, Saif pretty much admitted that he had a hand in getting Sara Simbaa in May.

"I've been keeping track of it and, of course, it bothered me because I wanted things to go smoothly with her."
Saif revealed that he took charge of the situation when things looked difficult. "I'm very happy that she now has a good film with Karan Johar. I was quite involved with her getting on board with Karan but after that, I can afford again to take a backseat. I'm here if she needs me," he said.

But isn't that his responsibilty as a father to bail out his child out of a mess? He did not do Sara any favor. That said I found it very insensitive on Saif's part to have Tim' birthday party on the day of Sara's debut or not even bothering to attend her simmba screening. Its like him going out of the way to prove Sara is not important which definitely is not true if that was the case we would not have seen Sara n Ibrahim hanging out with Saifeena n taimur often. Saif perhaps took a back seat coz there is conflict in view point with Amrita with regards to Sara's career which is fine n much better than them both bickering n making a khichdi outta her career.

Here's the catch...here also I feel Amrita would have gone but she wasn't in India...she was away at the same time for some good 40+ days shooting for Badla...

Saif DID go and watch Kedernath. There are pictures of him at a screening.

As for not seeing Simbaa, I don't remember the last time Saif watched even his wife's films. I think Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the last Kareena film Saif watched of Kareena's. I don't think that has to do with him supporting Sara any less, but more his disinterest in his own family members' movies.

And again, I never said Saif did Sara any favors. But since in this topic it's made out to be that he had no hand in his career, just wanted to point out, he did.

She did get good reviews and SCREEN-TIME for Kedarnath than Simmba! ... Amrita did good fosho! ... If there was only Simmba she would have had similar graph as Sonakshi when she debuted .. Some reviewers called Kedarnath "her movie" .. so debuting with that movie was a wise call!

Amrita chose the perfect script for her...the film revolved around her character , she had all the interesting dialogues and the author backed role...

I never said he did not watch kedarnath. I said its insensitive of him to pick her debut day to throw a birthday party for Taimur when that day was not even his birthday. If he lobbied with Karan for simmba the least he could do was to bother attending the screening but instead around the same time as her movie' first screening he chose to pose at the airport n let everyone know he was not at the screening but was off to a holiday with his family. Both times I felt he was being insensitive and was going out of his way to show he does not care about Sara.

Kareena is not equal to Sara in Saif's life so please do not get her or her movie screenings into this equation. She is a good step mother and has struck a wonderful balance with her husband' children. My problem is the father Saif who is trying to portray an insensitive image. He am sure is good to his older kids coz the kids seem to have healthy equation with him but he is projecting otherwise for reasons best known to him.

Well said. Amrita has raised kids by herself. She even started working in Ekta serials to support herself and the kids,It's Amrita's firebrand personality which reflect in Sara. There is nothing of Saif in her. Saif needs to back off now. He can save himself for Taimur in some years. To be honest Taimur won't need him, he is totally a Kapoor. Sad part is Ibrahim looks like him, but he wasn't a part of their lives. Taimur is with him, but gone on the Kapoors...😆 Karma is a btich.

she made it clear she went and messaged four times to Rohit Shetty for the role. if she wasnt Saifs daughter, Rohit Shetty would not have even OPENED her message. Thats the power of nepotism.

kudos to Sara for not acting coy and announcing to one and all ki she was OFFERED therole by Rohit Shetty.
