It's an uphill climb anyway to get people to accept a disabled lead actress and dwarf lead actor especially in a big mainstream movie.

I don't know how good or bad the scene was. But I just recalled a scene from Om Shanti Om, where director says to Sharukh, he is wheel chair bound and can't speak. 😆

SRK's lost credibility. People still have a soft corner for SRK due to nostalgia but it's assumed that his movie will be blah! There are so many options these days, gone are the days when people only had BW films/Khandom to turn to. Now, Khans also need to do their bit by selecting entertaining scripts and acting well. Especially SRK because his credibility is non-existent rn! His movies don't even have massive openings anymore, nor do they have widespread hype like before! The opening indicates stardom, but after that, it depends on WOM and the product itself. ALR made a bad product but the movie is failing to pass even the weekend test due to SRK's negative credibility!

Looks like the directors and producers go bonkers when they have a superstar in their movies. No sense of script, no nothing.

Why is the budget of the movie so high ? Did they actually pull off a Mangalyaan in the movie lol ?

If I were the director I would have done what GOT directors did on the first epi. They showed all bizzare elements on the first epi itself. I would have shown a part of the space monkey thingy at the beginning of the film leaving the rest for the climax.

Normally the failure of a movie should be blamed on its directore...But this one is special because according to his own fans I believe all SRK wanted was a commercial for his VFX to spread his VFX business, which I believe he achieved successfully...So may be all is not lost, and this move is successful in achieving what it was supposed to achieve!
