In India, you need male following to be hit, Fawad would struggle to get that just like Sid and ARK.

He's an investment so the Nepo squad is pushing him to see whether he can sink or swim. On his first failure you won't hear if him again.

He can't play any serious role. He tried to do that in Akash Vaani but it was a flop and even during his serious scenes in PKP series, He looked bland.

SKTKS made him popular. I don't know how that movie made 100 crores. Misogynistic piece of crap it was. So was PKP.

May be true but Fawad has something special. He could excel content driven and period/historical movies.

Kareena took him under her wing. If you notice ever since she first started taking pics with him back in I dont know july or something, rest of her gang also warmed up to him. And she's like the Information and Broadcasting Ministry so that was all the right buttons pressed in the media.

Anyway he certainly deserves all of it and more. Marketing is everything today. That's why people will watch crap films even if they have overhyped yet to prove themselves star kids while ignoring great movies like Laila Majnu.

Imagine it took Karthik years I think to court some attention. Star kids just wake up, release carefully created articles and artificial personas and people begin to bend over backwards to praise them. It's quite funny actually. 😆

He is fortune too to get into that circle, (good or bad that is diff debate) i remember how Sushant used to say how he wasn't invited in bw insider parties. In fact even now he isn't invited to many big parties.

But Kjo dropping Karthik from Good news with Kareena makes me wonder if he sees Karthik as a threat to industry kids. :(
