Deepika comments on Ranbir not attending her Wedding reception -DT P19 - Page 4

Deepika is prolly the only one according to me who still talks about her ex. It doesn't matter if the question comes up in an IV but I've not seen this level of nautanki otherwise.

We don't talk to each other. He can invite me & my fiance for me to take part in a stupid show. But cannot come to my wedding. I didn't expect him either.
We are like chess players. We analyse each other's move carefully, eventhough other person refuses to reveal. That is the beauty of our relation.

A pair who are fiercely competitive, who cannot get along with each other, but work together for professional reasons. Fine. But no one glosses over & pretends like these two.

I get it. Except we don't know how Ranveer really feels about all this. She's been making these headline worthy statements with regards to Ranbir for years and there have never been any hints as to Ranveer's reactions. If he doesn't give two $hits then why should she care about what others think? If her statements didn't affect her dynamics with Ranveer while she was being very private and tight lipped about them then I don't think it will in anyway affect things now that she's married and is deliriously happy being his wife.

As for getting a kick, I don't think she's getting a kick out of talking about Ranbir but rather she's getting a kick out of all the headlines and the reactions that her statements generate. This is just my speculation. I'm sure very valid arguments can be made as to why this in of itself is bizarre and I accept that. But I think the core of her motivation here is to amuse herself.

Sometimes I donot understand what she talks but when she talks about Ranbir I feel she is trolling him with some inside joke.. I never believed in the shit that she is still pinging on RK 🤪
