I do agree that she didn't need to be this extra with her response. But I think this was as much shade as it was just trolling the fandoms and/or media.

Firstly,who invites their ex? Why would anyone be surprised if their ex doesn't show up at their wedding? Its better they don't.

When the ex calls you late at night and invites you and your fianc to come and hang out with him and his current "girlfriend'. After the whole show of the late night gathering and KWK appearance Ranbir has lost the credibility to argue that he couldn't go to his ex's wedding.
