Kjo tried to ignore Ayushmann at the start of his career

On KWK, Ayushmann reveals something that Karan Johar didn't anticipate. Ayushmann revealed on the show that Karan Johar had ignored him at the start of his career. He remembered his first meeting with KJo at an awards show where he was hosting as an RJ. He shared that he had asked him for his number. Karan gave him a landline number and when Ayushmann tried calling him on that, someone told him that they don't audition newcomers. The AndhaDhun actor said, "I was like, Can I have your number? I want to be an actor. You gave me a landline number. The next morning, when I called the number and asked to speak to Karan Johar, the person on the other line said, We don't audition outsiders and newcomers' or something like that.

This left Karan a bit dazed and, then, he tried to redeem himself by clarifying that he did give his number as he might have though Ayushmann had some potential in him. KJo said, "I gave you the right number. That was very sweet of me! I must've thought that you have potential Ayushmann laughed it off and expressed that all he wanted to do was reach KJO which was not possible. Karan then confronts Ayushmann and asked why he never spoke about it before. Ayushmann expressed that as an actor he had to be careful of what he said. He said, "When I was an RJ, I could be myself completely and freely say whatever was on my mind.

This never gets old.. From John, Anushka, Ranveer to Ayushmann.. Kjo thought they would never make it as actors without even seeing their acting or auditions. And they all proved him wrong. 😆

We don't audition outsiders and newcomers. Actually, we don't take auditions at all, you just need to be related to XYZ celebrity and you're the next superstar of Bollywood.

Nothing new, every outsider have a similar kjo story... Shameless guy is even justifying it...

On the contrary ayushman proved nobody needs a karan johar in bollywood to be successful,living proof raj kumar rao,kartik,sushant n ayushman

We don't audition outsiders, 🤢, kjo only takes known insiders and when these "outsiders" become hit, he gets chipku as a leech.

Who knew the Ayushman episode would be most controversial?! 😆.
