Thanks. Now a lot of things make sense. Like why for the longest time there were rumors of Jhanvi being in Kalank 😆. I do remember the rumors that Sara and her mom weren't happy and felt that KJo was shortchanging her in favor of Jhanvi. It was speculated that Amrita then talked to Ekta and networked her way to a meeting with Abhishek Kapoor and helped Sara get that role. Once the controversy around Kedarnath happened and it looked like the movie might not even get released I read somewhere that Saif was mad at Amrita for ruining their daughter's debut by interfering and not letting KJo do his thing, and a frustrated Amrita agreed that Saif was right and he then approached KJo and Simba happened. Well Saif actually did admit to helping Sara land Simba so part of that is true at least. Masand bringing Dhadak up with Sara and her refusing to comment on it and her sort of awkward "I don't know what you are talking about reaction makes me think that all these rumors surrounding her and Jhanvi's debut are true.

I guess no matter how much we enjoy her eloquence and disposition and even glimpses of her acting it won't change the fact that her family name put her where she is today. Kind of disheartening. But it's now up to her to rise above it and prove that she's belongs here and earn her positions. I think she's on a right track.

Going back to what you said, how in the world did Alia convince KJo to go against Sridevi's wish? I'm wondering if that's common knowledge within the industry and that's why there is a shift in some attitudes towards Alia this year?

So, while Amrita was busy networking, Saif got Sara Gully Boy? Did Sara leave it after signing on or agreeing verbally? Clearly she chose the movie her mom got for her over her dad's. Privileged as f**k but hopefully she realizes it and doesn't get all entitled.

Masand is a bonafide Kjo chamcha. There was really no need to bring in the Dhadak angle but he slyly did. Now all major news portals are picking it up and suddenly once again everything is about Sara and Janhvi- two Dharma girls.And obviously Karan.😆

@Arwen11, wait why are you mentioning Gully Boy? Saif helped her get Simba. Unless there's another rumor I haven't heard (very possible 😆) Sare nor Saif have anything to do with Zoya's Gully Boy.

@Paachaa, I was also wondering what was the need for Masand to bring up Dhadak. Given his proximity to KJo you could be right that it was a strategic move. But to what end? I mean other than some negative hype for both Jhanvi and Sara what else will it accomplish? Unless KJo thinks the media pitting Sara and Jhanvi against each other is good publicity.

^ There were rumours of Sara doing Gully Boy which Amrita squashed and apparently the source said since Saif is close to Farhan, if Sara wants to do Gully Boy, all Saif needs to do is ask Farhan. But instead, Saif asked his wife's bestie. 😆
