She is here to act. If she can do that she will sustain. She is not very glamorous so no chances of surviving based on that.

I like her free vibe. But give her 2 years in the film industry and soon she will have to by default become diplomatic and an ass kisser. That is one of the ways of survival here.

You know after observing her in various interviews , I have to say that she does act a bit off screen too...the Sara in the BBC IV is very different from her radio ivs and also different from her kwk appearance... I feel her radio iv was closest to her real persona...she can really change as per the interviewer and the platform...it's good in a way but not entirely coz it includes some level of artifice.

I agree.
Its not a bad thing. Most of us do that. Lie in interviews...to make an impression.
we have to remember that this is her workplace too.😊

And sara knows well enough how to present herself.
She has a way more composed and mature air about her than say alia or jahnvi who are around the same age and contemporaries.

But being well groomed and well spoken rarely equates to talent. Otherwise all miss worlds woild have made it to no.1 actress. Same goes for abhishek bacchan...one of the wittiest people around.

All i am trying to say is...sara is like any of us 20 something women who have started their first job or so.
We all used to have a far more spirited less filtered air in college. But workplace and the rigors of the system soon enough makes you watch your tongue and mind your p's and q's.

Civilisation would not exist without a bit of hypocrisy.😆

If she keeps her radio iv wala persona more then surely she will fall into trouble... 😆

Her voice reminds me Rani Mukherjee. Her body language, her outspokenness reminds me of Preity Zinta. Will she and Jhahnvi be next Rani-Preity?
I don't know why everyone say, Sara's down to earth behaviour is because of her mother's upbringing. Amrita always looked snobbish and arrogant in her interviews.
I would rather give credit to Sara's friends. Despite having such elitist parents, she looks so normal and relatable.
She is down to earth, but she does not try to look modest. She is bindass, but does not sound arrogant. Just like one of those lively friends in a gang.

Everytime I see a star kid who did zilch getting these high profile interviews, I get reminded of Taapsee's opening statement in her first ever interview with Anupama about how she had to wait for 5 years to get there... ...

Don't even like Tapsee much and I also gave up on the nepotism debate to be frank, but she was so bang on about what she said. I can't believe actors who haven't even had one release yet are getting such high profile interviews. She might be a great actor but at least let her work speak first. Formality ke liye hi sahi, but atleast don't make it so evident. 😆 I really enjoy Masand's interviews because he even interviews the charecter actors if they have gained a lot of appreciation, but this is just so meh.

People do get interviewed before a film releases, there is nothing shocking about it!

Okay, you are right. I just googled and even earlier he has interviewed star kids before their movies released. Just found one on Ranbir which said born to act. 🥱 Looks like this has been going on for quite a while! 👎🏼

I like Sara a lot, but yes she is reaping the benefits of being a star kid. To a large extent she can't help it for the next few weeks because she has two movies to promote. But once Simba is out she should plan carefully. Specially if Simba becomes a hit and KJo tries to show her off.

Her education and maturity is very evident in the way she speaks.

Sounds like Dhadak was offered to her first? Anyone know what's that about?

Not sure but there were rumours about her being in running for Dhadak then commotion within Dharma camp happened😆 apparently Sridevi wanted Janhvi to be/debut with Kalank (known as Shiddat back then) & kept a condition that she'll only do Kalank (b4 Madhuri stepped in her shoes eventually) if Janhvi will be the female lead in it, cut to Alia badly wanting to do it, as per rumours & her own admission in one of Masand IV she said that the 1st time ever she had to make any effort to get a film was for Kalank, when she had to call up Abhi verman & Kjo n "struggle" her way into that one, anyways seems like to appease Sridevi, Kjo finalized Janhvi in Sairat remake & Sara even if she was in running, her patta got cut 😆 I doubt she turned down Dhadak
