Ranveer's comment is very inappropriate and disrespectful to the journalist present there. Alia laughing at his comment speaks of the normalization of such attitude and the culture of subtle misogyny amongst the self proclaimed liberals and progressives. The difference between what he said in this tape and what Ranbir said to Katrina is that Ranveer is being an inappropriate ass by following the unfortunate cultural norm of boys will be boys and all that crap. Ranbir was being a disturbingly inappropriate ass by specifically targeting Katrina and demeaning her. And he might have had some deniability before JJ promotions, but since he was a jerk to her during those promotions it only cements my opinion that he was specifically trying to demean Katrina.

Oh and just because I acknowledge that Ranveer said something highly inappropriate doesn't mean I shouldn't also call out this post for what it is, tit for tat.

If people remember and I am sure some do...when this topic was opened back in Mar-Apr...immediately a Ranveer fan had opened a thread with a 5 year old clip from a stage show where SRK and Ranbir had made a rape joke of some kind..😵.the bashing in both the threads went on for days...so no need for the members to be alarmed that a tit for tat thread has been opened..

Having said that...there was no need for this thread ...especially opening it under the guise of the #metoo movement...also people who have been enraged here and rightfully so that a very serious movement is being used for tit for tat...a similar outburst should have occurred in the other thread also...where obviously a NINE YEAR OLD DOCTORED CLIP...was being used to bash Biru under the guise of being sympathetic to Kat and women in general...well you fooled no one...everyone and their dog knows it was a bashing topic slyly opened under the guise of women's right..

One more thing...and I am not defending anyone...but telling a fact that...10 years back things were different...for eg ...rape jokes as disgusting as they were ...were not a taboo...Salman Khan when he made that statement about feeling like a raped woman...was hounded by the feminists and women's commission and everyone else yet 5 years back the rape jokes in 3 Idiots were laughed off...and passed by the censor board...do u think the rape jokes will be given a free pass today...while some things are always wrong and disgusting but then they should be judged in the times they happened...like I said even if they were more acceptable then..they are still wrong...but we can get an idea of why some said what they said.

Ranbir, Ranveer and all the male actors/stars out there are birds of the same feather flocking together. No matter who is whose favorite, these sort of comments, no matter who make it as disgusting as it can be.

Some neutral shows a finger to Ranbir for his indecent behavior to his supposed girlfriend infront of other ppl and an RK fan instead of accepting it, instead feels the need to bring an RS casual fun talk to his media friends! 👏 He showers love to everyone. He didnot speak disgusting with respect to hinting at touching certain body part in public. Iam amused at the immaturity of RK fans. RS is all fun and love while RK is male chauvinist and egoistic. Accept the truth. RS is born in a grounded family. He needs to mask his extraordinarily creative persona to blend normally with others. It's a struggle for him while RK is born in a family that feels like royalty of India. RK cannot match RS in terms of humbleness and goodness. RS will be misunderstood, hated for not even a fault just for the sake of it while RK will not even be corrected for his million mistakes. 👏
