Whoa! This is not only disgusting but totally insensitive. For the purpose of entertainment, is it okay to portray the actual dwarves wrongly? Is it okay that the makers are being insensitive? Wow..so no research is required? This is such a narrow-minded thinking. Real life dwarf people are humans for Gods sake, not for the purpose of mocking and your entertainment. Is it okay to hurt the entire dwarf community by portraying them wrongly first and promoting your film everywhere using their identity?

Best part is they have preconceived notions about dwarves and that isn't disrespect

But portraying them in a way that a section of them already are, clearly seen in the sets is a problem.

SRK's stand-in in the movie was exactly the same type of dwarf SRK is playing. They had him on set with them the whole time.

But we already know this topic will keep getting resurrected.

That means SRK is playing a Short person. Not Dwarf. Dwarfs are people who are less than 4 feet. This guy is not.

In any case, we cannot expect mediocre actors like Salman or SRK to put in the required efforts like a Kamalhassan. They rely more on "stardom" than researched Acting to bring in their audiences. 🤪

In men and women, the sole requirement for being considered a dwarf is having an adult height under 147 cm (4 ft 10 in)

SRK is 4'2 in the movie so he is a dwarf.

In fact it is disrespectful for someone to dictate which is dwarfism based on your perception.

Disrespectful? Give me a break! He looks nothing like 4"2' in this film. And the point being made is the mannerisms, limbs and body language. But then, he never changes it even when he plays a Robot or Emperor. So, nothing much to expect in any case. 😆

Heartbleed, if anyone is being insensitive here, it's you. You have a preconceived notion of how a dwarf must be. If anybody needs to do some research here, it's you. You clearly have no knowledge on the subject and are hence coming off as disrespectful.
