I remember reading his interviews after Vicky Donor. He thought of himself as a huge star. It completely put me off the guy. So arrogant. I don't like him ever since.

Once the hype around him died down he got off his high horse and came back to his senses.

Yes he is underrated. I have started liking him after dlkh

He should be more celebrated given the choices he makes and even make them work. The media and industry people tend to ignore him. He is doing amazing work and growing his fanbase. Couldn't watch andhadhun even though I was so excited about it, would try to go for badhaai ho now.

Another good thing about him is that he doesn't use the outsider card even though he easily can because of the biasness he faces.

He's very much underrated as an actor. Also it seems like he gets all the rejected projects, as all his movies seem to be very risky and niche which no other mainstream actor will like to do.

Yes, he is for sure underrated. Honestly, I was one of those people who never liked him. Then I saw that movie with Sonam, and also Dum Laga ke haisa and Bareli ki barfi and he totally won me over. He also seems like a very decent guy off screen, from his interviews. Hope he goes far. I'm rooting for him.

Yes! That's the one with Sonam right? It was directed or written by the lady who wrote or directed that show Hip Hip Hurray. It was a nice movie. I liked it too.

Yes he is very underrated. But I am glad finally Indian audiences are choosing good stories and good performances over masala movies. Andhadhun got a mediocre opening (picked up later) but badhai ho got such a huge start. Cinemagoers are identyfying his talent. Makes you feel so good when self made people get appreciation and recognition. Just wish he gets accolades at the award season too.
