Maybe I missed something but how is the victim in Ranjan case exposed? Just because two other people said he never harassed them? That in no way shape or form exonerates him from the charges.

In most of these cases it does become a matter of he said she said. It's highly unlikely for women to lie in these situations because the stigma and backlash that they face from society is too severe and they know it. Even in cases of anonymous victim an independent party must investigate the accused's history because if they've harassed one person chances are there are other victims.

As for Chetan, his accuser doesn't give details of his behavior and even says they might have been harmless but they still made her uncomfortable. I don't think her signing off an email with love u kiss u negates her feelings. But Chetan using that as his defense does tell me that perhaps there is a degree of misogyny in him where he sees a women's affection in signing off an email as a sign that he can behave in some inappropriate manner.

Which A-lister will speak? Most of them are Industry kids, related to each other in some or the other capacity.

There are very few like Deepika, Anushka and Priyanka, who are both A-listers and outsiders. They will have practically no support if they dare to name someone big and not to mention, they can bid goodbye to their careers there and then.

PC, DP and Anu are all powerful to name someone big. PC is in HW now, I don't think she cares much about her BW career now, DP and Anu have powerful man that can protect them. RS and Virat are both powerful enough to protect their ladies. So I don't think they care much about their career to speak and PC and Anu did speak little bit about it few days ago.

People say the momentum for metoo is going down or that it is getting misused etc... well for ages women have suffered through a lot more, many lives have been destroyed. So i don't mind if this movement may get misused.. every movement requires sacrifice for a better tomorrow. If our freedom fighters thought similarly, we wouldn't have gotten independence.

Please name one person who has benefited in any way from speaking out. One person.

Dr Ford cannot go back to her house because of death threats while Kavanaugh has a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court. The woman who spoke out against Trump had to leave the counry while Trump was elected President. And this is in progressive USA.

So WHO are all these women who are getting fame and fortune for speaking out?

For ages men hv exploited d silence of women, just coz she is silent, means she is agreeing to it. They even make the plight of women into jokes. Finally women r gaining voice n even with a few fake ones, it's a big achievement. I hope d future generation is able to give it back then n thr. This forum alone is d poof as to how many women have been abused. Nobody here is gaining anything sharing thr stories.
