Can we give Anushka som credit as well? I think its so unfair that Varun walks away with all the credit, even when you have an A-list actress starring in the movie😕

When she has equal role in the movie if not better. She is one of the protagonist , When she is one getting better reviews for her performance inn the movie ... I guess leave it some of them are just jealous of Anushka's success

Watched the movie ... simple sweet totally a family movie 😳

Loved the performances of all the artist ..predictable story but treatment and direction 10/10

Mauji & Mamta ⭐️ they both look real & original.

for me this movie moral is 1+1 is not two it's eleven ⭐️

From Student Of The Year to Sui Dhaaga, actor Varun Dhawan has given consistent hits at the box office. It has been six years since he has entered Bollywood and is already one of the most successful actor of his generation. And for the right reasons!

Having acted in 11 films till now, Varun has never given a flop. All his films have performed well at the box-office and the actor has been praised by the critics and audiences for his performance.

Over the course of his career, he has played different roles. From playing a romantic hero in the Dulhania' series to playing angry revengeful husband in Badlapur , he has played it all. Recently, he has earned critical acclaim for his role of a emotional boy Dan in Shoojit Sircar's new age tale October.

His films ABCD 2, Dilwale, Dishoom, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Judwaa 2 went on to enter the 100 crore club.

Finally watched the film today. What a movie man, loved loved loved it. The theatre was almost house full and the audience mainly were families. Even I went with my family and was glad to do so. My whole family liked it and the first thing my mom said after the movie was finished was ' kitne time baad itni saaf suthri film dekhi hai' 😆. Completely true though the film is so clean, simple, earthy family entertainer.

Best was to describe the movie is what varun said in some interviews that it is like a Disney movie. Have a very happy vibe throughout, characters are optimistic and very honest and have a fairytale ending. The movie is very simple , you will know what is going to happen but the way sharat hai written the movie is amazing. You will be invested throughout till the end with no single or dull Moment. The best thing about the movie is its speed, the things happen quite fast.

Want to write so much more and talk about some scenes but not going to right more so as to not give out spoilers.

Everyone acted brilliantly. All the supporting cast was amazing be it palteram, guddu, kumud, mauji's brother, yoges. But the scene stealers were amma-bauji they were hoot. Loved them the most. You really would want to go and pinch amma's cheeks.

Coming to varun anushka. They have the best chemistry. She is officially my favourite costar of varun now. Anushka looked so pretty and gorgeous in the simple look. She was really good in her role. Acted through her eyes, dialog delivery was really good.

Now coming to varun. So proud of him, there was no varun in the film there was just mauji. No one could have played mauji better than him. Mauji is varun. He got everything right from diction to mannerism. He excelled in emotional and comedy scene. So glad varun chose this movie. He was on par to his performance from October for me.

Go go for this movie if you want to watch a feel good happy movie, that never goes preachy or ott or too emotional. You will have a huge smile at the end. The film is humorous and emotional and also gives you a great message.

9/10 for me ( this is if I keep all my biasness for varun aside)

Also I don't get these critics most of time. My expectations got low after reading these critics reviews. But I so much loved and enjoyed the movie. On the contrary I liked the second half more😆

The climax which many critics were bashing was the best part for me. Spoiler the fashion show was so good with all of them walking the ramp in their unique way. Most of the people in the theatre clapped at that moment.

There was one more thing I wanted to add is the relationship shown between mauji and mamta. Despite not even touching each other you can feel their love and respect for each other. The first time they hold hands, or see each with love or hug each other, all this gives you so much feels.

Also the way mauji stands for his family and show his love towards them is so subtle and nice.
