Metro was a good film and did well for Kangana, Irfan Khan and Konkana. Anurag Basu is really talented. He's just not good with over-ambitious movies like Jagga Jasoos and Kites.

Basu is a good filmmaker. Its sad how one flop can change things to this extent. Everyone from SidM to Ishaan are apparently rejecting his film. The guy freaking made Barfi, Gangster and Life in a Metro (even JJ was a great attempt). And then you have Rishi Kapoor trashing him though he arguably gave his son the best film of his career. Such a fickle industry
