DITCHED? Sidharth Malhotra ditches Anurag Basu's upcoming flick with T

Sidharth Malhotra, the handsome hunk of
Bollywood who will next be seen in
upcoming flick Jabariya Jodi opposite
ravishing Parineeti Chopra, has quit Anurag
Basu's upcoming flick, ostensibly, due to
date issue. However, insiders reveal that it
has to do more with his own flop films like
Aiyaary and he does not want to associate
with anyone like Anurag Basu, who could
not save even Hrithik Roshan (Kites) and
Ranbir Kapoor (Jagga Jasoos) starrer flicks
in the past. Here is what a source told a daily
in this regard.
"Sid is not a part of the project anymore. He
was supposed to be paired opposite
Taapsee Pannu and theirs was a funny love
story. But now, the filmmakers will have to
look for another younger actor to star in his
place."
Taapsee Pannu was supposed to star
opposite Sidharth and now another actor is
being scouted to star opposite her in the
film.

Jabariya jodi does not seem like a path breaking film so not sure what's with sid walking out of Anurag Basu film. He can do much better at such light hearted comedies and if the movie seemed like one then why not!

The movie is Life In A Metro 2. His name was more or less attached to it till last week. I'm pretty sure the issue was dates since its production was clashing with the biopic he's doing end of this year early next year. I think everything else is just gossip. These days every other article about Sid makes sure to mention his list of flops

Well I'm sure Basu can find better actors..
