Why would Ranbir speak on prepping when he has Rishi to speak on his behalf? 😉

He's not shading anyone, and lets not shade the way people prepare. There is nothing wrong with preparation or doing your homework

I dont care if someone prepares or not- but when i see you on screen YOU BETTER DELIVER.

He probably is shading someone, anyone...but Abhishek shut him up completely. He stopped talking only😆
There is nothing wrong in prepping and there is nothing wrong with not prepping. Dont feel that u need to be cool and stop prepping. He is very articulate, and was far better to watch in the interview than either Tapsee and Vicky.
If only his movies spoke like that...

Abhishek has always been an articulate person, and I really liked his interviews with Bolly Hungama and Rajeev.
He seemed to have a very good repo with the other three.

As for the thread, it is not about Ranveer, it was a general statement, but seems like someone wants to get Ranveer Bashed.😆

Exactly.

Prepping for a role is not wrong. I remember Pc saying some people prep for roles , they deliver it and some deliver without any preparation.

Both are equally amazing.

As long as the effort isn't seen and the scene sticks with the audience.

The problem begins, well for me, when they go on and on about the method.

That's ranveer's problem.

On topic, Vicky wasn't shading any one person. Maybe, prepping in general.😆

I like what Abhishek said. You should take your craft seriously. The first actor I heard was effortless, was Kajol. I heard SRK say that, maybe on KWK. And I thought that was cool. But when I heard how SRK used to prep and work hard towards his roles, I thought that was admirable. Both were my favs and I can't choose which is better. But I think it always makes me respect those people more who take their work seriously and actually make efforts to do their best. For some, it may be natural to them, and that is great too. None I'd say is better than the other but if it is natural to someone, it will be awe-inducing for me and if it is their prep that made them such a great actor, it will make me respect them more.

I think Vicky was trying to say that he doesn't like people making a fuss about their prep, that's what Taapsee said too. But I think I don't mind it. If somebody is overdoing it, then I can make it out, having seen their performance and I just ignore it. It doesn't get on my nerves or anything. Just like I ignore when somebody says everything is so easy for them, they don't even think twice before going for a big scene. I don't mind people exaggerating eitherways. I don't even mind the meddling Kangana and Aamir do in their movies, if they can make it better. These things are not to be criticised I think, what really matters is the end result. If the movie is great and they have acted well, then whatever it takes. But I love it when actors are sincere and honest, like Abhishek is coming across in this video.
