It was clear from her interviews with Anupama and Rajeev in April that she was free and wants a 'lighthearted' type movie. But since nothing has worked out, suddenly this narrative of taking a break to replenish is being spun rather than admitting she has no films in hand. I don't think she is interested in small indies, she wants every film of hers to be a big film now.

But she was with Ranveer at the most busiest and ambitious phase of her career, 2013 to 2015. During 2013, she was doing double shifts. I don't think this has anything to do with a relationship. With RK she did let go of her career which even she realized, hence she never did the same mistake in her relationships afterwards.

Also if Irrfan hadn't fallen ill she would have started shooting for Sapnadidi in April. If everything went according to her actual plan the break she was to take for wedding prep would have not been this long.

Shes making a BIG mistake. Audience is fickle, people have short memories. If she doesnt do any BW movies in next one year she will lose her position in top 5 BW actress. She shd just do smaller movies like Piku if shes not getting the fees she wants for big movies. Good roles in small movies will give her satisfaction as well as critical acclaim.
