Noone is asking her to do 4 films a year like she did in her very successful 2013. But I think a healthy 1 or 2 films every year is the best way to go.

Parineeti also took a break for reasons best understood by her. And look at her now. Any charm and spark that she had has been washed way during the sabbatical.

I am not saying what happened to Pari will happen to Deepika as well. Or that Deepika will not be able to pull off a comeback. But history tells that these breaks dont always work out well.

She took a break aditya Chopra is the reason. He advised her lose weight and all that when she was perfect how she was. Really bad decision listening to that guy. I'm the end what did she achieve by this.

Deepika is in a much stronger position than pari I think she's taking it on her own. Definitely not a wise decision but her life her choice. Hope it works for her because yeah these breaks are not a good idea generally. I just wish she was not doing XXX like take a break but choose a good movie to comeback with in that case like Sridevi did.

As a fan I am happy that she is taking a much deserved break and that she looks happy.

Of course I would be happy if she comes back on the big screen but there hasn't been any other releases this year

I don't think she will compromise on money or role in BW from now on. She wants larger than life characters like Mastani or Padmavati even though the characters were severely flawed. She should stick to movies like Piku.

It's one thing to take break but to leave 2 years of gap at your peak is stupid .
Don't tell me it's because of her marriage plans , if that were the case someone please tell why ranveer has 4 movies lined up for him ?
