the only actors in the new gen who are good looking are ARK and Sid. Ranveer, Arjun, ranbir attract based on charm and personality.

Among actresses.. Shraddha is conventionally good looking among the girls. same with katrina and deepika

so, based on the definition of being good looking, ranbir isn't. but he is defintely attractive I feel

nope.. but then again average to below average to downright ugly male actors are hailed as hot in bollywood with justifications like "but but he's got charm" etc etc.. even if i dont see these "charms" and "charisma" etc

wish women got the same benefit of the doubt as these basic men..

actors are not required to be good looking and this has been a pattern for years. actresses have to be physically attractive to some extent otherwise it doesn't work for them. but I feel like this is changing. actresses like alia and parineeti are probably two of the most average looking actresses (in a good and relatable way) in mainstream cinema.

For me he is basically safaid bandar, kinda like his cousins Kareena and Karishma.

He isn't a ugly or "oh how did he became an actor" type of bad looking. He looks decent enough, plus when well groomed he looks good.
But he isn't a head turner purely on the basis of looks.

Siddharth Malhotra and ARK are "good looking" at the same time look dumb most of the time.

Ranbir has a look which is not as ugly as RS or as dumb as SM which makes him a balanced guy in outlook. Actors are not necessarily need to be "good looking" if they have magical screen presence.

He's cute and looks good cleaned up. Not traditionally good-looking, but definitely not bad-looking either. I also thought he looked good in the Badtameez Dil song.
