Anushka's memes are not negative or offensive trolling.
It is more of a comic relief stuff.
So I agree with SP, the movie will get more online visibility because of this, if nothing else. Not saying the movie will be hit only because of this, but it is better to be visible. And we have seen how much these types of jokes made Alia super popular at one time, even though that was more of infamy like Rahul Gandhi's.

With memes being the current trend among the youth, it won't be surprising if the team of Sui Dhaga themselves started this meme trend. Otherwise, I see no reason why an ordinary picture like the Anushka sitting on the floor one is being turned into a meme and being used more than the crying one, which is more meme worthy.

This isn't a PR strategy. Meme culture target anything which is popular.
Happened with Shahid in Padmavat with his "Woh Rajput", happened with Sanju with his "Zaruri hai kiya" and how this Anushka memes.
If this is the strategy every PR applied, I would be more than happy, much better than the "X and Y are secretly dating", "X is getting banged by the gay director" and all those nonsense.

You just reminded me about this which I read last month. This guy works for Bollywood Hungama and Koimoi, and has taken pictures which you can see in his profile icon and header with Salman and Akshay. So he looks like he's reliable.

That apart, the troll pages are also PAID by RIVALS to create negativity about a few films. This happens mostly during clashes, wherein the troll pages will blatantly take sides, and go against the one of the two films based on their loyalties. This a big fat dirty world
