She reminds me of ARK, in the sense that they're both very lazy and unambitious about their craft. It's worse in Sonakshi's case because she is actually talented as proven in Lootera, but weirdly, she hasn't been able to deliver a follow-up to that amazing performance. There is a noticeable disconnect in her performances and image/persona she portrays. She lacks authenticity, confidence and more importantly, passion for the craft.

About time!

I would say she is the true product of nepotism! Her last decent performance was in Lootera in 2013 and yet she has been getting movies after movies though there has been no good performance from her side nor has the movies become hits. Its weird how she is so lazy about her work and does not give a eff because she knows she has privileges.

It isnt about looking older than your age. I mean, I agree, that might have been a hindrance for her in getting some kind of roles, but then, it is hard to feel bad for her, when for years, she has maintained in her interviews that she happy doing those repetitive roles in the "masala genre". By the time she realized that it probably isnt a good idea, it was too late (too late for people to care about a Sonakshi in , say , a Noor or an Ittefaq)

Compare her to a , Vidya Balan, who has also had the same "problem" of looking much older than a lot of actors, but look at how she has handled her career. Regardless of whatever films worked or not, she tried to choose the best she could from what was offered.
