Aishwarya fits in period settings but she keeps doing modern roles which don't suit her that much. Audience love her when she is in Indian period look. 😛

Her most noteworthy roles have all period or Indian look.

Aishwarya needs another Bhansali period project to get the limelight again. Who will watch that crap Gulab Jamun with her useless husband. 🤢

So sad to see her resorting to only modelling assignments in order to earn a living.

Bhansali should at least for once give her another period film. Even Sahir biopic would be OK. 😒

I agree with whoever said about her lacking emotional depth and is extremely limited.

She is more fit to be a model then an actress. Acting is not her cup of tea, plus her dialogue delivery is horrible.

Just read what Ash said. 😲 I thought she was one of the diplomatic types. She couldn't stop talking about how Karan had given Aloo only good roles hahaha

For others, who are like me, late to the party -

"I'd like to say, way to go. It's wonderful that she is enjoying and exploring her craft and her time here in films the way she is. I've said this to her also, it's fantastic for you, the kind of support Karan has given to her from the beginning. To have that kind of an establishment with you is very comforting. It's not tough to have it laid out for you, for the longest time, and she smiled. It's great for you as an actor as there is only good work and good opportunities ahead. What's nice is she's also doing good work along with great opportunities which are virtually there on her lap literally, regularly. So, it's nice she is doing good work within that, so Kudos!"

man i was thinking when did she work with mahesh bhatt. then i gave up as ham queen has worked in many movies which went without any trace... then i read the third line :)

Ash was never a great actress. She was beautiful and danced well so she made a good commercial heroine. She also fit in really well into period pieces especially if they gave her less lines like they did in Jodha Akbar.

Beauty and dancing skills are irrelevant for 40+ roles so there isn't a lot for her to do now. This is a problem Madhuri is also having. She did not have great depth as an actress either and is too interested in looking beautiful and sexy which puts her in an awkward place for good roles at her age.
