I agree. Irrfan Khan doesn't make it into these top 10 lists but we know when it comes to movies he's enjoying himself. During Piku promo he actually said the one thing that surprised him about DP was that she decided to do the movie and challenge the actor in her. Now if DP just concentrated on doing movies like that as a fan I'd be the happiest. I wouldn't care that it wasn't making enough money to keep her high up on those lists.

Yes please! I saw this rumour with Salman-DP and my first thought was why not Hrithik! If she has to do another SLB period drama then this is what will get me excited.

I also thought the depression could have made her slow things down but the months after she got diagnosed she did Tamasha, Piku and BM. I just think the scripts that are coming her way aren't exciting her and then of course the delays which gave her an unpredictable schedule. Sapna Didi was something that came to her two years ago. It can take time for something to develop when the director is busy with other projects.

I have a feeling she's waiting for Irrfan to recover so they can do Sapna didi and then she can give dates for other BW movies. There's also the Superheroine movie which is going to require a lot of time if it happens. Because it got announced with a Filmfare exclusive it appears to be more than just a rumour. And if those 3 movies happen then she'll be shooting for most of 2019.
