I liked that she was honest. She admitted it would have been a great movie to do and that as an actress, it was really hard on her to give it up. She's trying to be a good wife and hoping her husband can make something of himself by letting go of some opportunities.

It's really sad though. Abhishek didn't even have the lead role so why didn't he step out and let Ash do the movie instead? Imagine the statement it would have made if a 40+ mother was getting to do this sexy, funny, dancing mainstream movie as a lead. (And there you go, naysayers, SRK wanted to do back to back movies with 40+ married mothers so stop crying.)

Abhishek puts on a nice face but I definitely see discontent beneath the surface. He's hardly ever taking care of Aaradya and Ash has to take on all parenting duties. She has to give up movies so he can do them. He has stupid fights with online trolls, etc. He walked out of Paltan at the last minute. He goes off and rants about how Aishwarya shouldn't be called Ash when he herself named PC Piggy (which is such a mean name too especially with that fake nose of hers).

I suspect he is as patriarchal as his father. To make matters worse, he is entitled too.

HNY was a lame movie and now imagining Aishwariya as Mohini just makes it cringeworthy. Thank God for that.
Deepika and Abhishek were the saving grace.

Hmm, you are probably right abt Abhishek
I mean previously he seemed to be a perfect husband and father but lately the cracks are appearing and hes behaved badly with Ash on several occasions like the premiere/ launch of Sarbjit where he was obviously churlish with her in public
His continued failure is affecting him now, he cant keep up the facade anymore
Isnt Reshma Shetty handling his PR now? Didnt he post pics with Aradhya on SM to seem like a devoted dad?

Ash seems so sweet and likable these days. She has so much warmth now compared to her younger years.

That role was very dancing oriented! Aish could have done better dancing or created more memorable numbers.

When I was watching it I was wondering where was the dancing? 😆 There wasn't enough for something that was suppose to be dancing oriented.

I used to absolutely love her interviews where she would give brief and graceful replies and let her eyes do most of the talking...But now this is the second interview where I am seeing her talking too much, using too many hand gestures and expressions which I am not sure if I am liking or not!

Its the opposite for me. I hardly watch interviews and last video of hers I watched may be the US talk shows or Oprah where I found her annoying. So I find her relatable here and can't believe how fast she is talking.

Thank God for Abhi. Aish would have butchered Monica. Deepika was the only likable aspect of otherwise a god awful movie.

The character changed when Deepika came on board lol there was no way Ash would do a song like lovely lol
I havent watched the video, but why didnt Abhishek leave the film? Why did Ash have to leave? Why did Ash have to leave Dostana too? Why couldnt they replace Abhishek? Id be more interested in seeing SRK-Ash or John-Ash than having Abhishek around.

An is this a big story 😆😆😆
All these people are eventually just gonna end up senile and at some dinner party where they draw circles with blue and green crayons 😆😆 Saying I use to be king and queen of all that. Then fall asleep like at 8:45 😆😆😆

IMO this is going to be controversial but I consider Aish superior to Deepika in terms of acting too. But Aish hasn't proved her mettle in comedy yet. So who knows how the character would have shaped up. Deepika is overrated.
