We are 8 months into the year and he hasn't delivered any hit or chartbuster song yet. The last song that i heard from him that had some buzz was Binte Dil. Usually by this time he would have a couple hit songs,what has happened has he started to die out now after dominating for a good while??

Btw this isn't a thread meant to bash Arijit as in fact I am a huge fan and wish to hear him once again

No he's still the number one playback choice but he does focus on ballads more. In the past few months there have been more fast paced songs hitting the charts. I predict the next major musician to hit movies will be Guru as soon as Badshah fizzles out.

Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Aye Watan, Bas Tu Hai, Aa Jaao Na. I think there are few more. And, anyway, this year has been quite shitty for Bollywood music IMO.

I think he'll come back his era is not over yet

BW music this year is really shitty , last song I liked was Dhadhak's title track , my hindi playlist is so dry lmao

PS : Mohammad Irfan has such an amazing voice ( he sang Banjaara from Ek Villain ) he faded away from BW , wrong timing Arijit was a huge hit back then , I really wish he comes back.

I think he is overexposed but objectively he is doing great. It's that all the albums this year have been mostly trash.

Only surprise was his complete absence from Dhadak album.
