Lots of people here criticized Ranveer for having that song in Padamavat saying that it's comical or that he looks like a caricature or that it wrong, immoral, blah blah

But can someone tell me why it was okay for Ranbir to be feminine in Sanju? Sanjay is not feminine from any angle... yet he gets praised for it ?

RK was anything but feminine in Sanju. I think that was proved as soon as the movie released.

Both Sanju and Padmavat are flawed movies. Funnily, they both only concentrated on Ranbir and Ranveer's character respectively. Ranbir's character was shown as good soul, falana dhinkana while Ranveer's was shown as the worst soul possible example being the eating tactics. Imho, Ranveer's song in Padmavat was not comical. Who says bad guys don't celebrate? Ofcourse they can. It added a nice touch to an otherwise boring movie.
As for Sanju, just because of his physicality you cannot rule out if he had a feminine side to him, whatever that means.

Ranveer looking comical in Khalibaali I only read in this forum and few RK fan tweets.
Other than that, every YouTube reactor, people around me were terrified of him in that song.

Neither was Ranbir by any means effeminate in the movie.
vulnerable yes, but not effeminate..

SLB didnt knew to show womanising ways of khiji in a funny way just like how hirani showed sanjay's 350 gfs and his womanising ways in a funny way and anushka, a woman reporter laughed liked a maniac ! Got to give it to hirani for potraying sanju as om baba !

Ranveer was looking terrifying as Allauddin Khilji...I watched the movie and I was disgusted by the way Allauddin treated the people around him which was what I suppose the director intended and the actor delivered...

I didn't watch Sanju but I did watch the last song on Youtube and until the last I didn't even realize it was the real Sanjay along with Ranbir...My eyes were only looking at Ranbir's Sanju and totally disregarded the other guy thinking him to be some singer or something...He was that real! 😲

Anyways, whatever you read on this forum is not the gospel truth!
