Fan - Solo release - 84cr Flop

JHMS - Solo release 75cr Flop

Race 3 - Solo Eid release - 165cr Flop

Tubelight - Solo Eid release - 112 cr Flop

Hmm. It's a tie between Race 3 and JHMS.

Race 3:

Salman Khan in Macho form

Eid release

Hit franchise

JHMS:

SRK as the king of romance

4 holidays later on independence day holiday

Imtiaz Ali

Next Tubelight

Then FAN.

1. Race 3 is the biggest failure imo, a hit franchise, Masala action, Salman Khan, Solo Eid release with open weeks, yet it bombed

2. Tubelight, simply because it is again a solo Eid release with open weeks. Had it been a non Eid release i would have put JHMS 2nd as this wasn't really a mass entertainer

3. Jab Harry Met Sejal, non festival release, although it was a horrible film all round, and i'm not surprised it bombed, it's 3rd because it didn't release on a huge holiday like Eid.

4. Fan, again, non eid/non festival release, also, it was a dark movie with no songs, i personally loved the movie, it's better then all 3 above combined, but it didn't do as well as expected.

Shittiest film is Race 3. But a disaster, it is not. It is a top 20 grosser of all time and nobody lost their shirts, even if that seems to be the popular narrative.

2017's biggest disasters were

1) Rangoon

2) JHMS

3) Tubelight

From the list, JHMS. A 50 Cr+ loss for the distributors.

R3 and Tubelight didnt get flop verdicts let alone disaster ones . Fan and JHMS were flops but when you think disaster and dont even list films which had disaster verdicts its a bit weird 😆😆😆

I guess Bombay Velvet and Mohenjardo in recent times were big disaster films ⭐️ Maybe Mela
