It could be an act. She has got everything that is best, for sure. But, she did say that she isn't going to pass on an opportunity she gets because it is a big deal for her. I think she means that she's not going to take it for granted but she will go for the best option she has. Not unnecessarily audition and go through the struggle route if she doesn't need to. And unless she does or says something that actually proves that this is an act, she will get the benefit of doubt. Let's see what happens, abhi toh first movie hai.

I think she should really stop reading comments online before the film releases. Doesn't matter if it's constructive criticism or trolling, she should just stop reading online messages before the release of her first film. I'm not really surprised with her grouse to be honest. I remember going through the comments during Pehli Baar release to gauge the reaction and everyone was talking less about the song and more about how Ishaan looks so gay and like one of those boys who does musically while Janhvi looks like a shemale. (I'm paraphrasing these in decent words.) I really don't get what's wrong in a) being gay or shemale b) looking like one c) what's the connection between the physical appearance and acting? Anyone would feel down reading such comments about yourself before the release of your first film.

Ishaan seems to be stronger and more mature than Janhvi. He has already been an AD and actor before so he has learnt how to handle criticism. Now Janhvi has to learn doing the same because the trolling won't stop. It will only increase with time. So they both need to start only taking in the right form of criticism while ignoring the ones that are unnecessary and that will come with age.

i totally understand the part that she doesn't want to waste an opportunity but she really has to stop with this poor girl act. she very well knew this was all part and parcel of the job - us commoners on india forums know so much about the industry without being in it and if she is as passionate about the industry as she claims to be - she should know criticism goes hand in hand with bollywood ! also in the interview where she questioned " why are you so angry" comes across as very entitled. " why the hell should i give it up" she could have voiced this in a much better manner, never heard a celeb talk like this :/ also she already sounds so mad at the audience for not accepting her - hope she stays a lot calmer in future interviews. no one likes an entitled bat
