a muslim can ONLY get married to a christian (as they r ehl e kitaab) but there is NO CONCEPT in Islam of a muslim getting married to a hindu or jew (yahudi). it is strictly not allowed.

They are actually allowed to marry both Jews and Christians who are considered to be people of the book. This has been mentioned in the Quran. Also, the Jewish or Christian person should also be a practicing one in order for a Muslim to marry him/her. The reason why only Jews and Christians have been made permissible is because both Jews and Christians follow the concept of monotheism and have the same restrictions with respect to what's halal and haram (if you go by the original version of the Bible and Torah).

This one was definitely made deliberately to instigate fights/arguments on the forum . Writ large on the way the topic has been made. No relevance at all.

Even the permission to marry a christian is not valid as such anymore by most scholars now..it USED to be on the bases of the holy book bible as it shared many things with Quran..but as everyone knows Bible is now very much altered by many over the bygone years/centuries, thats why its not advisable to have a muslim chrisisian marriage as well, by many islamic scholars...Even under Pakistani law muslim christian marriage is not allowed/valid.

Christians in those ancient times not used to eat pork..its a west' adoptation.

Marriage with hindus is not allowed as they:

Do not believe in one God, which is the base/root of Islam, but they worship many Gods.

They do not believe in any of Islamic prophets, Nabi, Sahabas.

All of the beliefs of hindus and muslims r entirely different from each other, more than any other religion if we compare it with Islam.

Suhana kaisa bhi pose kare kya farq padta hai. Whether she follows Islam or not, isnt that her choice? Its her parents choice as to what extent they want to give freedom to their child. Isnt this 2018, where individual likes and dislikes are given a chance.
