You were right to question me till the question remained within Sanju, since I only objected about Sanju being uses as an example for Ranbir not always doing only man child roles. For which I duly exampled how is Sanju a man child character. Now you are just clutching straws by asking these justification for views of other posters.

Clearly, Ranbir has found one character he is good at portraying and goes back to it repeatedly so that he can maintain his good actor image. Think Anushka.

Salman, Sanju most definitely are man-children!! I laughed so hard when Sallu was saying shit like how Sanju & him are the only MEN in the industry. Well if rampant abuse to loved ones, putting them in emotional trauma & shock, murder, accidents & committing fatal mistakes ONE AFTER THE OTHER; is the accurate & underlined definition of a MAN, then MOST DEFINITELY Salman & Sanju are the only MEN, around.

Rk has a certain vulnerability in his personality, which he tries to hide. He runs from his girlfriends who have figured out his weakness. I guess it' his this weakness which attracts him to such scripts.

Well no. Ranbir has played different roles like in Rajneeti( really good shades of grey) and APKGK and now Sanju- where he plays sort of macho guy- guns and girls. In between there is Rockstar, ADHM. Definitely there is variety.
