I think everyone agrees to the fact that he possessed arms illegally.. What was the reason for those arms.. You have an opinion and i think it is fair to hold one.. but Dutt already got into jail for that crime.. He was sentenced to 6 years for that under Arms Act.. Movie focused on how Dutt got dragged into bigger mess too by attaching his name to Bomb blasts.. which I don't see mentioned at all in his confession statements as well.. Even if you see his interview after he served the jail sentence( yes for someone who said here he is still under trial or convict, he is not- he has served his sentence) he said please don't associate my name to bomb blast case.. Supreme Court judge said -Sanjay Dutt is not terrorist based on facts and not emotions that his fans /well wishers . Unless proven one is not guilty.. so here it was proved of illegal arms possession so he got to jail.. and there is no other charge proved on him..

Arre bhai maine kab kaha that this confession is proof of his involvement. I was talking about seeing so many hand grenades and not for once doubting abu salem's and others intentions. Of course its my opinion. If this was a fact i would have openly picked sides which im not doing. Neither do u or general public have any facts that can prove him innocent. So i dont get ur point.
Btw, its not a strong discussion point, that he wasnt convicted for terrorism and so hes innocent. Lets not forget his father was a politician who had a certain amount of power which he could use to get the terrorism charge off him. Im not saying it happened for sure, it may have happened. So i dont get how u consider that judgement to be the absolute correct one.
I rest my case here and dont wish to debate on this any further.

Oh that yeah he saw them. Of course he knew he's getting these weapons from the uw and it's not hard to imagine having them hand grenades doesn't mean he knew what they were gonna do.

bottom line the rdx truck story is bogus if that happened then he would have known but it didn't. I also believe under pressure he would have told the police everything so if that was the case he would have told them about the truck too. He isn't someone who won't crack up under pressure in fact he has hyper tension.

he was and still is very gullible. his name came up because the weapons from the same stock were used in bomb blasts.

they're not stupid to tell him or trust him with their plans.

There was another tahelka article of how he told his dad because he has Muslim blood in his veins, look at the crap they make up. The guy is a bhole nath bhakt doesn't believe in allah or anything like that but even forget that how did tahelka come to know of this convo which happened in close doors between them? Did it even happen?

sunil asked him to come back and he did. A guy involved in bomb blasts would come back? Risking to be labeled as a terrorist and serving time in jail?

whatever he did was shown even staying in touch with the underworld. they have 60hrs of recording and he knew his calls were being recorded. as he said he was scared of them why else stay in touch with them when because of being in contact with them he got tada?

Btw he wasn't out of tada because of his dad, he only got bail because of him that too after 18 months.

The case wasn't in court. His involvement wasn't proved, he was under trial like most are in indian jails. He had the means to get out so he did. took 13 years for them to give verdict and people calling him terrorist and still do. It is what it is I guess.

Also everyone was involved with underworld this stupid guy just went one step ahead. riots, love for guns, threats all manifested into him taking those guns.

If he took those weapons and the blasts didn't happen then but much later then he wouldn't be linked to it.

I was talking about actual people coming out of theaters not some YouTube comments.

Ofc credit goes to Hirani + rk but also to Sanju.

No.
I am not familiar with most parts of the case. I did see the film Sanju twice. If white washing was the intention it failed with me. Sunil Dutt clearly fights for his son, but Sanjay did go to jail for years. So if neither political influence or BW influence could save him from jail, obviously they had enough evidence to put him in jail.

I am not clear exactly on what though. I am however sure he is not a terrorist because the courts said so and he has no business being out if he is.

He has served his sentence ...let him live in peace now. He got punished for what he did so matter ends there.
He was not involved in blasts, that's for sure.

Lol Sanjay can live in peace but if a biopic is made on him, obviously we will discuss the what all happened in his life and how it was tackled in the movie.

Meh.
Even those who hate Sanjay Dutt - would now praise Raju Hirani because Laja Beta is starring as Sanju in Sanjay Dutt's biopic.

That's Bollywood fans for ya.

The biggest give away is if he had even a shred of evidence working for him, he wouldn't be serving even one day sentence in the jail...He served his punishment? One has to be kidding if they believed this...He got away with a 5 year sentence, most of which he spent outside with umpteen number of bails- marrying multiple times, having kids, building career...Oh yeah poor poor Sanjay...cry me a river!

He did keep the arms, and he confessed to it,that's why he was in jail,I don't think that's a hard concept to to grasp
