She is Vicky's girlfriend but ends up sleeping with Ranbir after Vicky is intoxicated and falls asleep. I think Katrina is intending to say that Ranbir Alia are similar. Alia ended up sleeping with 'best friend's ex boyfriend' after bestie got intoxicated in her love and fell asleep. The pink is a symbolism of the dhoka and KJo gifting it is sort of a reality check.
