Sanju Has Fifth Biggest Monday Of All Time

Sanju had the fifth biggest Monday of all time at 25 crore nett plus. It can be called the biggest non holiday Monday collection of all time as Bahubali - The Conclusion had a partial holiday (some parts of the country). The ticket rates at multiplexes were at higher rates than normal though not at the weekend rates which were very high for Sanju.

The highest Monday ever on normal rates is Sultan at just 15.50 crore nett and this shows how important ticket rates are on the weekday collections. Sultan had its sixth day on Monday so ticket rates went back to normal. Sanju has had a similar Monday to Dangal which is the film that Sanju is probably chasing as Bahubali - The Conclusion is probably a step too far. It will be the GROSS figure of Dangal which is 495 crore which Sanju should surpass to become the highest grossing film for the Hindi film industry. A 500 crore GROSS figure will mean the first outright Hindi film to surpass that figure. Bahubali - The Conclusion GROSS stands at 709 crore.
