Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's engagement rumours have been rife since the beginning of 2018 when the two jet-setted to Sri Lanka with their families. It is suggested that Ranveer popped the question to Deepika in the midst of their families, who are supportive of the couple.

If reports are to be believed DeepVeer will be marrying on November 10, 2018, in Italy, as they want to keep things private🤣 like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding ceremony. They will subsequently have a ceremony in Bangalore as well.

Though both have neither confirmed nor denied the marriage rumours, Deepika did address the speculations on Evening Standard.

When probed on the engagement with Ranveer, "I try and keep it separate as much as possible, but I don't try to fight or control the speculation." 🤡

Deepika spoke fondly about the relationship that her parents share and how she envisions to be a part of a marriage like theirs. "The way they are as a couple, the way they have held the family together. They are amazing role models," Deepika revealed.

When the actress was further quizzed about having kids, Deepika gushed, "Absolutely I want to have kids."

Do you think DeepVeer will get married this year? Let us know in the comments below.

Meanwhile, Deepika also spoke about her battle with depression which came to a head at 2014. "There was a lot happening people thought professionally it was one of the best years of my life. I was on a career high but that's the thing about depression there are no warning signs. It just comes and it has nothing to do with how much money you have or how successful you are. Or what strata of society you come from. It can affect literally anyone," Deepika shared.
