Hrithik is a Hero of the masses and classes and only Bollywood star after Khans to have a Pan-India appeal. Infact, he is more down to earth, simple and humble than attention seeker like Ranveer. If u call Ranveer a "Phenomenon", then you probably were not around in 2000 to understand wat the word actually means! 😎 And the best thing about Hrithik is he does not focus on his looks and always takes up challenging roles since beginning of the career when other stars were playing to the gallery. He is the true blue trendsetter and the Most Talented actor in the History of Indian cinema and the whole Universe!

I love him a lot and want to marry him in my next life! 😭

hrithik's competition is akshay and the khans not someone like ranveer whose competition is dhawan, malhotra etc...

but hrithik anyday...even though his acting is not always great

As you yourself said, in 2000s. Won't deny that Hrithik was a phenomenon, but it has been very long time. In the present scenario things have changed. Ranveer is an extremely talented actor getting really popular across the nation. It is only a matter of time till he races ahead many of the actors. He has a charm that takes him to the simplest of people and also a grandeur to carry huge films.

ETA : I myself have been a huge fan of Hrithik but I don't think that Ranveer is nowhere near him in terms of acting. Not talking about stardom. Of course in that department Hrithik would be ahead.

U find it a long time bcoz he does least films, stays out of limelight, does not make stupid statements for attention and people miss him a lot. When the last fully commercial film he did was Bang Bang just 3 years back and created opening records in a clash. Hrithik's Akbar >>>>> all the 3 SLB films of Ranveer and even after 11 years is still universally praised. Cant compare other films of Ranveer as i dont know them.

Ranveer is a good actor but it is a joke to even compare with the big wigs. Yes, every actor will go thru phases. Salman/Aamir were in low phase last decade, but this decade, they are on Top.

Senior stars will slowly go away and new stars will come. I personally find Ranveer very loud, fake and over the top. Maybe it may appeal to some but it is just not my cup of tea. He can capture eyeballs for sure with his antics.

^^ I am not saying Ranveer is a bigger star or has a larger box office pull. Heck if Hrithik comes with one mind blowing trailer (not something like Bang Bang or Krrish), I will be all ready to watch the movie in the first week.

I'm talking of the aura and acting. They are not miles apart when it comes to acting. They are not incomparable. Ranveer is as good of an actor and he has created a beautiful space for himself amongst the audience. He is extremely versatile and carries an attitude that connects him with the masses, off screen. It has been a really long time since people have seen such an interesting character both off screen and on screen, with so much of vibrant energy even during interviews.

But such things are subjective, so we will have to agree to disagree.
