People like me who have no idea about the original & don't know the language will enjoy ... and I sure did!

I loved Jahnvi's expressions ... sometimes Ishaan's are so much like Shahid's.

I liked it up to 0:32. After that it suffered from trying to live up to original' syndrome.

Ishaan killed it. Bollywood welcomes another natural born dancer. After Varun and Akshay. And surprisingly Raj Kumar Rao. These guys are earthy. Dance just flows.

Hrithik and Tiger are no doubt good but they're more rehearsed.

Saw the press conference and a reporter asked why a marathi word like Zingaat in a hindi song set in Rajasthan to which Shashank explained that while they were brainstorming the lyrics with Amitabh and Ajay-Atul, they found out that Zingaat is not a popular Marathi word and was used some 400 years ago in some veda and neither has it been used in popular Marathi literature nor does it have a defined meaning in literature. It only means 'bindass hoke naachna', hence they used the same word since only after the original song did 'Zingaat' become a popular word in daily use so they thought it would add to the remake as well and also said that's why they used the word in the song as ' Nache zing zing zing zingaat' which will make it self explanatory for the audience.
They also spoke about the choreography and said that apparently only the hook step (I guess the dab) has been a planned choreography while the rest of the song is like the original where they dance without any planned steps and that's the reason they practiced for only a day before the shoot.

I'm really liking the way the trio of Shashank-Ishaan-Janhvi are handling media questions. They are all prepared and confident without any sort of attitude and are always appreciative about the original film as well and speak highly about Rinku and Akash and also the fact that they aren't insecure about the comparisons with the original. Shashank also spoke about his parental instincts towards Ishaan and Janhvi and said he would be the first one to clip their wings if both Janhvi and Ishaan starts acting pricey and star like after the release of the film. They shared many more such interesting things about the film.

This is up at the Radio Mirchi facebook page. I wish it was up on Youtube so that I could simply post the video instead of writing so much.😆

That is such a false and irresponsible statement by direcrid that word 'zingaat' is not maharashtrian or not used by Marathis.
It's commonly used in local dialects among rural population and to an extent in cities too.

Trying to wipe off the Marathi identity for monetary gains 🤢

No wonder it's getting bashed and #zingaatruined is trending everywhere.

He didn't say the word is not Maharashtrian, he said it wasn't a commonly used word by people and the original song made it popular.
Can't say whether it's a true or flase claim though since I'm not a maharashtrian.

Watched the original zingaat and yes dhadak version is missing the rustic feel.
But this one is fun too and Ishaan is an absolute treat to watch.
