Because she gets criticized a lot for her broad face structure a lot. So she tries to thin it down by pouting.

I'm not sure about Karishma she's always overlined her lips the top one in particular. Kareena naturally has full lips so I don't see the need but it's pretty obvious as you can see the outline above her lip indicating she's had it done recently

kareena rani and vidya are the only ones who have crossed 35 without ever getting anything done to their face..i really hope this is just some sort of makeup and she didn't do anything..her natural expressive face is her biggest plus in an industry filled with plastic swollen lifeless faces..

Pretty sure Kareena had jaw reconstruction around 2008 or 2009. There were reports about it too, but then it all got lost as the timeline coincided with her breakup from Shahid, hookup with Saif and all the size zero hoopla. She even deflected the drastic change to her drastic weight loss. But the change to her lower facial structure was pretty notable. I personally think she lucked out with her surgery as it only made her look better, same with Karisma when she got rid of her manly brows and her new jaw before Raja Hindustani.

I mean Kareena always used to pout, especially so as Poo in K3G and all those movies with Tusshar Kapoor and Fardeen Khan, but she never this hollowed out cheek look that became prominent after the surgery, especially in Kambakht Ishq, where she retained some weight from her zero figure look, but her cheeks have never filled out after the surgery no matter her wight.

I think she dabbled with lip fillers before this around the time Jab We Met was due for release. It doesn't look natural on her since she already has full lips. The fillers this time round makes her look fake.
