Race 3 would have flopped if Sanju clashed? - Page 3

On topic, yes it would have been similar to BM vs Dilwale clash, Race3 would have had a bigger weekend due to Sally's stardom but overall collection would have been better for Sanju(if it is a well made movie and not too much indulging on Ranbir's psyche).

Race 3 is a very poor movie, if it had anyone other than Sallu , it would have struggled to last even one day in theaters.
The likes of Ready, Bodyguard and Kick(movies which are actually poor in execution) should not be clubbed with Race3 because the first three are South remakes which were entertaining for a large section of audience(I don't care what online mahaan people think about them) but Race3 even most of the hardcore Sally fans didn't appreciate. It is similar to Jai Ho, Tubelight and Dabang 2, not fondly remembered by even Sally fans.

PRDP is a weird case though, young people either absolutely hate it but oldies and aunties love it, I dunno why. My mom almost watches it every time it is aired, damn.

Let's not club the likes of Dabang1, ETT, Sultan and TZH with these movies as they were appreciated by both TV audience&BO audience and are actually decent to good movies, while BB is universally loved except few Sally haters.

well HNY had a hit album, DP-SRK-FK combo which gave OSO and also did the largest promotional camp I ever saw for any movie in India with opening a whole show for its promotion, something called India Wala.



HNY did had positives with a hit album, a red hot Deepika and SRK pair, and a familiarity along with a fun trailer.

But Race3 has no redeeming quality.
Its trailer was terrible, songs were crap and WOM is worse than HNY, because HNY was at least funny intentionally or unintentionally Race3 is boring and crap.

And that is why 100crors weekend chants you keep hearing. It is all about Sallu's stardom for 100crores yes Eid helped but Eid didn't helped in a big manner as Eid happened on a partial holiday Saturday.

No I dont think it would have flopped. During a festival both movies would have had a good chance. I have massive respect for Salman's fans loyalty, patience and tolerance levels. They would have hardly left Race3 to watch some other film.
