Yes the actual movie was crap but it still was in the same region as Kicks, Readys and Bodyguards of the world.

Race 3 is a different thing, the pre-release negativity it had it looked like it would be the biggest disaster of all time even beating BV, but still did 100crore plus.
And I don't think that was possible with any other actor even with Eid.

Also HNY and R3 screen count difference was around 600-700 , not 1200.

That's false. Race 3's trailer was well received and Heriye was a hit song. Social media response to the trailer doesn't represent the general india population response. BOI itself said Race 3's trailer was liked and that heriye was a hit.

If salman's star power is so great, why couldn't Jai Ho and Tubelight get 27 crores opening like Race?
