I thought truffle fries are fried truffles but on googling, it's just potatoes fried in truffle oil? 😕😆 I have seen truffles on TV and they looked like rough black mushrooms so it's quite a surprise they are velvety and smooth lol!

The Table isn't all that amazing. It's just another hyped up place in SoBo. Been there twice.. spend 5k+ each time but left the place unsatisfied each time. I can still taste the bitterness of the zucchini spaghetti. Tho there Mac n cheese was the bomb... but it's Mac n cheese 😕

Thats fresh truffle. Usually truffle fries, esp in India unless you go the Table/Leela Palace type places have a little bit of truffle oil doused on them. Fresh truffle are flakes of the black mushrooms you spoke amount, which is why it's super-expensive. The smell is absolutely delicious, and yes, to me is velvety & smooth.

Oh really. That's disappointing to hear. I know a few who have been there & rave about it. I guess these stars get special treatment & everything is amazing for them!

Ooh you describe everything so deliciously, the texture sounds amazing! And according to TM, they are powerful aphrodisiacs, no wonder our lovebirds went for it 😉😆
