Audience only have a limited amount of disposable income. Raazi would have never done as well if it released in the second box office weekend of Padmavat. Or maybe Raazi would have stopped Padmavat dead in its track. Either way, one of the two would have suffered.

I don't see two movies releasing within two weeks of each other doing 200-300 Cr Each. Salman just seems like a safer bet. And people might have already spent their money on him before Sanju releases. Of course I might be completely wrong 😛

that can also go against Race3...if it's not upto the audience expectations or it's not entertaining them then they might wait for another big film that too from Hirani whose films r loved and also worked extremely well at the BO...I mean there won't b a repeat value in such case...
