This reminds me of the controversy a few months ago regarding the American singer Katy Perry who is a judge on a singing competition. She decided to give a boy a kiss after the boy said he had never kissed anyone because he was saving it for someone special or something like that. Was heavily covered by celebrity media for a bit.

I'm so glad people are actually calling out such behavior.Speaks a lot about awareness these days.Also, it's an important conversation because the child here is a boy. Kids irrespective of gender should be respected for their consent and approval.

The 'abey, hug karne ko man nahi kar raha hai, tu ruk ab' sounds so bad! And it's not Salman, I'm sure many of us have also done the same before where we haven't cared about kids consent and made fun of them u knowingly, out of love. But we all need to really grow up and realize such things are wrong and small things like these if not paid attention to, leads to bigger incidents in the future.

I received this whatsapp forward a few days back where this little birthday boy is all excited to cut his cake and suddenly a group of grown ups start giving him birthday bumps and smashing eggs, cake, food and everything and literally hitting him to an extent that his face is completely covered with food and is so heavy that he can't move. How pathetic! We really need schooling on how to treat kids. Matlab bacche hai toh unke saath kuch bhi karo??!
