Also I think she has aged well. Her looks may or may not translate well onscreen now. But in real life, she looks amazing. I like whatever it is cuz it doesn't look like botox to me. Madhuri, Ash - these and other actresses seem to have gone for botox and I just don't feel like giving them credit over naturally good looking actresses who have maintained themselves.

May be she is getting offers, but not interested in them?

May be she lost interest in BW... Read in this forum how she had a traumatic initial years and all the exploitation.. She wants to lead a happy life with kids, parents, sisters.. I like her offscreen more.. She could easily create controversy to stay in news or wouod reflect in her offscreen appearance.. She is just happy going out and attending parties with Kareena..

I'm kinda surprised at people here saying Karishma hasn't ''aged well''.. she still looks gorgeous & still got a killer body.

karisma simply could not reinvent herself. She remained stuck in the 90s. Yes she gave a zubeida, fiza towards the end of her prime but primarily her approach to scripts..work..her way of acting remained very 90s. She also made some terrible terrible choices in comeback like Mere Jeewan Sathi and Dangerous Ishq where both herself and her acting looked dated AF

yes Madhuri is also a victim of being stuck in the 90s but her stardom in general is much bigger than karisma's to keep her floating despite not reinventing herself

all the other prominent ones like kajol, sridevi..they totally reinvented themselves..sridevi would not do the 90s OTT acting in mom or EV..she adapted to the approach and reinvented herself

People have forgotten karisma like she never existed. It is surprising though but even a Shilpa who was no where close to karisma's stardom in 90s is now a much more influencial and relevant name than her..

It's because she herself doesn't want to. It's like she doesn't care and not ambitious. I think before she used to only because she was forced to from young age by her mother and family circumstances. She has basically lived all her life by her mother and never really lived for herself. It's sad really. I think now not doing movies is the least she's doing for herself as she doesn't seem interested doing movies. I wish she was as she's fabulous and one of the few best actresses from 90s. Loved her in movies along with Kajol. Such a entertainer she was. If she wanted to be relevant, she surely had all the contacts and still has but doesn't care and had been busy with the messy divorce and now children. I hope she finds love in her life. She deserves it after all she's been through. As for movies, I do hope she makes a come back when she's ready and want to.
