Yes she does better in restrained characters and not loud ones. But I don't even think Someone as talented as Alia or deepika can excel in "loud roles

Not every actress can do it all. You have to play your strengths - something I agree Ash has struggled with. I'd still say there's lots of untapped potential in her

Deepika bossed a loud role in CE, and is possibly the most remembered character since Geet in JWM. So Deepika is one-nil up against Aishwariya regarding that.
While Alia has never done a full fledged OTT roles yet, still whatever she did in HSKD 1st half is better than any of the giggly stuff Aish has done in her career.

IMO CE wasn't a loud role. So I don't count it. My Opinion.

Alia was typical in HKSD, if you're saying Ash can't do that: I can also say Alia can't do a Devdas or Jodha Akbar. As I said - everyone has their weakness and minus points but I guess you want to argue today?

Alia cannot do JA or Devdas is because she is not as beautiful as Aish, hence she would look misfit.

She is barely talented as actress, I count her as talented as Sonam. She did as much as she could with her looks. And the thing people say, she did well in her flop movies, then I just have to say if she did that well then she would have made those movies Hit. She is very limited of actor, as soon as she opens her mouth, it goes all downhill.

Yup that's the point I'm making

For example I'm a huge Kajol fan! I think she's amazing in loud roles. But she'd be laughable in a Padamavat or Devdas. I think Vidya is the best we have ... but I don't think she could commercial films. And that's okay

I think only Madhuri and Rani can do it all. And perhaps Sridevi in her youth.

She's a non-actress who can't act to save her life barring a few good performances in the 90s and early 00s. Poor dialgoue delivery and one hamming actress along with the dull ones like Ameesha Patel & Karisma Kapoor.

You can put a talented actress like Konkona Sen Sharma any of her good movies like Sarbjit (Yes, Aish ruined it with her la shi acting) and she will do better job than her.
