Ash was good in ADHM and subdued roles. She is very weak in roles where she has to be emotional and display histrionics eg. Sarabjit.

IMO Ash never mastered her craft and is no where close to her contemporaries in terms of acting.

I don't think so.

Her acting makes me cringe once in a while. So does pretty much every actresses from the 90s and early 2000s (Kajol/Karisma. The three of them are on the same level lol)

This forum makes me question sanity lol. The same people go out of their way and claim Sonam is a good actress but Aishwarya is bad LOL!

Aishwarya has had some very strong performances in her career. If she didn't she wouldn't have lasted this long.

Ash only acted well in SLB movies else she was OTT in most movies. She has got far more opportunities to show her talent but she fails most of the time. Like she tried comedy, a negative role in Khakee, bubbly roles but she just couldn't do well.
