Dumb as Kareena is, there's nothing racist about this statement of hers. And please, stop seeing everything through the Western lens. Most people in India don't make such gestures to be racist, most don't even know that its racist.

We don't need to tailor our sensibilities to that of the West. Each society has a different cultural context.

True, most desis don't know how racist they are (towards their own countrymen at times), thats why everyday we keep hearing about Chinkis(East Indians) and how easy they are and how they should go back to their country(Happened in Delhi Metro).

Edit:Also how difficult it is to find accommodation for Eastern girls in major cities and how they are beaten up and asked to leave the city(All this happened in B'lore).
